Getting the latest rules
==========================

CITY.INF contains a list of timezones with localities
TIMEZONE.INF contains a list of the timezones with their rules

The raw public domain database can be found at ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/

The 2 files were generated by Jesper Norgaard using the public domain database.
His web site address is http://www20.Brinkster.com/timezone50/index.htm

You can install his original VB software using the file TZINST.EXE in the directory
c:\atimezonedemo\exports, this software uses the 2 files mentioned above to
calculate local times. When connected to the internet it gives the facility to
download the latest CITY.INF and TIEZONE.INF files (these are updated regularly).

After performing such a download, re-import the 2 files into Uniface to ensure you have
the latest set of timezone rules.

The uniface software was developed by Michael Levene (http://www.computalink-systems.com)
and is provided FOC, with license to use it freely without liability for problems
encountered, warrenty or support.
